Add Your Ad Tags to Your TypePad Blog

These instructions are for TypePad users using the One-Click Themes or the Theme Builder. Bloggers with Advanced Templates will need to edit their HTML manually. Need help? Let us know! [link]

1. Get your ad tags. To get your ad tags, login to Adify and click Get Ad Tags. If you haven't created ad tags yet you'll need to [link] create them first.

2. Paste the ad tags for your 300x250 placement in the text box below.

3. Thento add to your TypePad blog's sidebar.

4. Paste the ad tags for your 160x600 placement in the text box below.

5. Thento add to your TypePad blog's sidebar.

The 728 x 90 'leaderboard' ad size is not available to TypePad users unless they are using Advanced Templates.

To change the arrangement of the ads in your sidebars, go to Design > Content and drag-and-drop the ads where you want them.

To change the width of your sidebars, go to Design > Theme.

If you are using One-Click Themes, you'll need to switch to a theme with sidebars wide enough for the ads you want to show.

If you are using the Theme Builder, go to settings for Left, Center or Right columns and adjust them to fit the ads you want to show.

If you are using Advanced Templates, you'll need to edit your HTML manually.
